Gunliner – Hit The Ground

Gunliner are a band from South West London, bridging the gap between heavy metal, thrash metal, doom metal, punk, and rock ‘n’ roll. Formed in a dungeon (only fitting), these three lads are rooted in influences all over the musical spectrum, whether it be Metallica, the Beatles, or Gil Scott Heron. Riffs the size of mountains, solos as powerful as lightning, bass grooves pounding through massive amplifiers, and a powerful precise but heavy drum sound that’ll rock the house sideways.

‘Hit The Ground’ serves as a tribute song to anyone who’s ever been beaten up. Written about experiences within the band, the storyline of an abusive upbringing is accompanied by massive riffs, a grooving bassline, powered and backed up by the hard driving rhythms of the drums.
